Support BladeForums! Paid memberships don't see ads! Six years ago today my Granddaughter Hanna was diagnosed with leukemia. I am grateful every day that she has so far beat it, and is now a strong and sweet young lady. Love you Hanna! Thanks to all my Bladeforums family for the support they gave us.
She is a fighter! Those were scary times, but Hanna was always smiling. It's just how she rolls. best mqqn
I bet she's ready to have you change your avatar photo John . Go Hanna - you have been an inspiration, and yes, ALWAYS smiling - strong and cool too! Cheers, Ray
I’m in a clinical trial at NIH for my cancer. Every time I see a child there it breaks my heart. It also puts things into perspective. Hanna is growing up in a remarkable time for cancer treatment. She and all of the other children fighting cancer are an inspiration to the rest of us. She’s lucky to have family like you in her corner, but not as lucky as you are to have someone like her in your life. Next time you see her, give her a fist bump from me and tell her I said “Nope. Sorry cancer. Not this time. This time you lose and I win.”
I hope you get good results with your treatments ... and I am with you about children battling cancer ... it's heartbreaking ... but they usually deal with it attitude wise better than most adults that does give pause and inspiration. Prayers out for you snd your family Creaky. JJ
Thank you both, that means a lot, but please don’t let me hijack this thread. This is all about an amazing little girl who’s undoubtedly tougher than all of us. Fighting cancer isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon, and Hanna can see the finish line. Go Hanna!!
Six years already? Boy oh boy how time flies. It warms my heart to see what a fine young lady she has grown into.
glad she has kick it's butt and it is going strong John. she is an awesome young lady! always smiling.
