Call me crazy, but I've always enjoyed seeing stainless handles pick up character through carrying and use. I do look forward to seeing some of those embellished 521's though.

Oh, and I now have two 444's on their way to me. :D

Well this thread was not what I thought it was, I was looking forward to finally winning something. Lol

You are way too funny oregon :D

I am a TEAM member and I know just how I fit in. Nothing to see here and no mystery as it is all layed out on the table and photographed for your amusement.

What's in a name? A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet wouldn't it? LOL. Very funny BigM. And I was worried that some might be angered by my sense of humor. Love this forum. Yes I do.

So here she is. My trusted 442 all cleaned up and a 444 I just got off ebay for $13 shipped. I also ordered a 442 with a half serrated blade, thumbstud and a clip blade. Apparently they made 442s in OD Green and some transparent handles as well. Below is my trusty 180.

Brilliant knives and terrific photographs. Quite a bargain on the 444. You have a collection going there. Thank you for sharing.

TheGent,

I think we got our 444's from the same place. I got two for $24 shipped. I probably shouldn't have, but it never hurts to buy yourself a Christmas present, right?

Probably did. When I ordered mine it said he had 10 available. Went back an hour later and they were all gone.

I buy myself Christmas presents all the time. Enjoy the fruits of your labor period, not just on Christmas. Set aside for bills. Then set aside savings/retirement. Lastly, leave a little for yourself ;)
