The HEST is cool, but you have to be careful how you carry it due to the pry-bar end.
I have found it coming close to poking holes in inside jacket pockets, getting snagged on clothing, poking through my t-shirts etc....
I have a zip-up pocket where I can angle it in (right chest) where the pry-bar end comes out, facing downward. It sits just right to where I can zip it up enough to where the pry-bar and handle can be zipped up to and it doesn't snag anything.
I find the Izula II great for an EDC if you want handles. I can fit it in my front jeans pocket, in any jacket pocket and it is very un-obtrusive. It would be a better EDC knife than the HEST for most situations. I would have the HEST zipped up inside something that it wouldn't poke through (or didn't care if it did) to prevent any ripped clothing or having it snag on something and pull out. I recall someone went hiking, had to crawl around and had his HEST get lost. I bet that sucker got snagged on a branch and came out of the sheath.
