This is an 1800's Sheffield style Bowie knife, with "English Buffalo Horn" handle and made of possible 1095 or 01 steel as quoted in the Bernard Levine forum. This Bowie is 14 1/4 inches long with a 9 1/2 inch blade. Also there are brass liners under the horn scales with a dime type edge. It comes with a leather sheath with metal throat and tip, also the sash stud. The handle has a small crack near hilt, otherwise the knife is as shown. I am open to all reasonable trades.

Does anyone wanna try and give an approximate trade value for this knife?

They can't give a value, as that would violate the rules of the forum. If you up your membership, they can, and then you can sell it here too.

Well no luck with this item, next one I'll post will be an original Buck NightHawk 650 with the all black handle and original sheath. I'll leave this open for trade until the 11-10-12.
