Sized like a Leek, but a bit different

Chapparal or Gent are fine choices. I personally cannot recommend Boker, though many others will and that's OK.

Or,CF leek sure looks snazzy!

I've reread your desires, and can't really think of anything that hasn't been mentioned already. But I have another idea. Since you still have the Leek, why not get something a little different, with the priority being the "pocket volume." Two that come to mind are the Benchmade Valet and Bugout. The Bugout is FRN, and I fully understand it's lack of appeal. When I first held a Mini-Grip, I thought that it just didn't feel like a $100 knife. After finally buying one, I marvel at how "nice" a plastic knife can be. The Valet is different and a little over budget. If you can find the Filson version, you get your wood scales. It's thicker than a Leek, but still small in the pocket. Neither of the Benchmades have a flipper, but you may enjoy something different (axis lock.)

Another possibility might be the Boker Plus Exskelibur II. Thin handle and blade, choice of steels, wood if you want it. But not made in the USA.

Funny you should mention that...I pulled the trigger on a Bugout actually because it is indeed such a low volume knife with a reasonably good size blade on it. If I don't like the plastic handle, but I do like the knife otherwise, I found a guy who makes some really nice looking aluminum handles (ParsonsBladeWorks on Etsy) and I'll just get a set of those.

Thanks for all the tips everyone!

As previously mentioned the Kershaw dividend in M390 is a great knife and very similar to the leek. HOB also sells the dividend in blue or red with a deep carry clip and S35VN steel. The carbon fiber Leek is also a great choice since it comes with aweome steel (cpm-154) and it’s lighter than the other leeks. All are made in the US, around $80 and you can’t go wrong with any of these IMO.
If you’re looking for a manual flipper I’d suggest the 0450, since it’s relatively small and you barely notice you’re carrying a knife.

Reading your post was like a look into my own mind. I was going to ask if you had considered the Bugout,(because after handling one Im sure it is the next knife I need), Then I saw that it’s what you ended up going with. Congratulations on your purchase.

The Dividend, especially with the M390 steel, looks pretty sweet. But...I've already got a few Kershaws, and I've been wanting to try a Benchmade, sooooo.....

I'll let y'all know what I think when it gets here!

I like this thing a lot more than I thought I would. It's really light, super sharp out of the box, and I like the Axis lock. All my other knives are frame or liner locks, the Axis lock is waaay easier and faster to close, I love being able to just flip it shut. No need to put your fingers in the path of the blade which is nice.

It took some breaking in to get it to snap open and shut quickly, and I think the pivot needs a little lube, but all in all, I really like it. Blade was perfectly centered right out of the box. The only question now is if I want to get some aluminum handles to replace the plastic...or really, if I want to pay for the aluminum handles, 'cause I do want them, just not sure if I want them enough.
