With the size and handle style of a tomahawk, but a wedge-like transition into the eye that makes it suitable for splitting, the "Calabria" pattern hand axe by Rinaldi is a great alternative for folks looking for the convenience and light weight of a 'hawk without sacrificing wood processing ability. Good hard steel, forged in Italy. 350g head weight.
