London - Due to the recent rash of pensioners using their canes to, horror of horrors, offensively attack poor helpless youths who were just having a bit of fun with the old folkes (they don't need all their pension money anyway) tony bliar, the socialist labour party leader and our beloved 'prime minister for life' has announce tough new measures against such evil assault canes.

13yr old vinnie - the scar - morgan, who is only 6.5 ft tall and a slight 250lbs was viciously attacked last night by 66 yr old alastair jones, a bruitish 5ft 2in. lout, 128lb of evil incarnate. poor vinnie, when interviewed said, all i did was grab his wife's handbag, they have too much money anyways, with their high-class ways, thinking they're better than us just cause they worked all their lives for there stuff whots we can nick in a second or two. i wouldn't have punched her in the face again anyways as she was already falling 'cus her leg broke when i kicked it.

poor vinney was hospitalised with bruises and contusions. mrs. jones, jailed as an accessory was unavailable for comment from her prison cell in the women's prison basement. mr jones has been held under the prevention of terrorism act pending trumping up of charges.

we, in this civilised world, cannot condone these gangs of old people who terrorise the youths on our housing projects going about their legitimate and praiseworthy works of asking for charitable donations, used to support the purchase of medicinal herbs and powders for their fellows.

they must be forced to give up their arsenal of butter knives, forks, spoons, canes, walkers, handbags, belts, curtain tie-backs, rolling pins, ladies nylons and other stranglers weapons and live in peace and harmony with nature and the youths who will be the future of our socialist paradise. thank god that we've managed to outlaw anything with a sharp point or edge, and them scary lethal plastic bb guns and water pistols.

remember, weapons kill people, people don't kill people.

not quite yet, tho they have banned 'replica firearms' (ie. anything that looks like a 'real' gun, bb guns and water pistols, deactivated firearms, etc) and are working on banning any knife with a sharp point. i think sjamboks are also illegal.

there was a case last week where a 66 year old man was arrested on a firearms offence (possession of an offensive weapon) charge for brandishing a bb gun at a gang of 'youths' who were harassing him at his house. recently, but a few months back, a teacher got arrested and jailed for firing a pellet gun into the ground in front of a gang of youths who were throwing rocks and eggs at her house.

canes are as far as i know, still legal (unless it is a sword cane) as long as you do not use it as a weapon, in which case it becomes an offensive weapon even if you are using it to defend yourself, this would probably be open to interpretation & there might be a mild rebuke to the authorities in the papers if someone were arrested as in my piece of fiction above.

the laws here can be mangled so that ANYTHING used to defend yourself is considered an offensive weapon if carried in public. they may grudgingly let you keep stuff at home and you may be found not guilty if you use mama's cane to fend off a rapist, but they ( the ruling socialist labour party aristocrats) believe the courts to be the place to decide if the use was justified or not (lawyers need to make money now, don't they?, we don't mind spending years in court defending our rights, do we?)

even scarier when i think that if worse comes to worse & i have to defend myself, i'll probably spend some time in the clink. but better i go to jail for it then he go to jail for zapping me. i'm not giving in to the barbarians at the gates without resistance, even if emperor blair is.

Let's not forget that .600NE creates something like 11,000 ft/lbs. The pic looked like a Yosemite Sam style gun. There I go mentioning Rusty again. I must have Rusty on the brain tonight.
I can't imagine what you'd need that for. I think it weighs in the range of 20 lbs. empty.

Have had and used the CS sjamboks for years. The hippo hide versions are illegal. Very versatile. Use for moving cattle and killing snakes. With a little practice makes a very formidible defensive weapon. Takes very little effort use effectively. With cut you open very nicely even through clothing. Good to carry when waling the streets for dogs both 2 and 4 legged. Is legal. not a walking stick. The newer CS versions are a little stiffer and have a much improved kraton handle. I put a brass walking stick end piece on my old one for butt strikes. The newer ones have a ball on the end that would work fairly well. 54" are good for moving around cattle for the reach. For defensive I would go for the 36" unless you are 6'3" or more.
