So, it's been a while since I've posted. Looong story...

Anway, I wanted to finally post some pictures of my Son, a US Army Combat Engineer with his SJTAC in a Buy Brown sheath in Kandahar province. He just returned in July from a 9 month deployment conducting Counter IED patrols in sounthern Afghanistan. He tells me that it got a LOT of attention from guys who are in the know about quality knives and recognize a Busse, as well others who just like a good knife.

Now, that's not where I would have mounted it, nor would I have used zip ties(!), but it worked for him.

Special thanks to David Brown for donating the sheath to this young warrior.

Awesome pic! So happy he returned home safely.

Also, like how he improvised, adapted and overcame attachment issues with what he had on hand.

Thank you for raising a good Man. THank him for us for his service.

Thank him for his service please.
And thank you for the pics.

Awesome! I'm sure you are very proud and relieved to have him home indeed! Tell him "Thank You" for his service from the Laxson "Mob".

Used to think the sjtac was too small but as you handle it more, like the batac, its perfect for the lbe. Us dads whose sons have served could never be prouder. Thank him for his service

Great to see a Busse being used where they're meant to be; in combat. Please tell your son THANK YOU for serving!!!
