Hey Butcher,
Here's a copy of a post I made quite a while back. These are instructions from the beginning, it sounds to me like you are at "step 3". I posted the instructions in their entirety in case there were others who needed the information as well.
Here they be:

I will try to explain it as best I can. However, a lot of the process depends on who "hosts" your pictures.
Forgive me if I simplify things too much -- I don't know how familiar you are with computers. I'll try to explain it the way I hoped someone would have explained it to me when I was learning.
1. The first step is to get your pictures prepared for the internet. This means that you should modify your image in a program like Adobe Photoshop or another picture editing program.
I typically save my pictures at a width of 500 or 600 pixels.
Click "File" then "Save for Web" and hit OK for the rest of the questions. Name your picture something unique but memorable, like "ratweiler1.jpg".
Once it is saved, the image should be 150KB or less. Any larger and dial-up internet users will have to wait for a very long time for it to load.
2. You will need a "hosting" service. Right now your image is stored on your computer, but for a website to display an image, it must be stored on a computer that is constantly "online" and otherwise set-up to share this image.
I have heard people in this forum mention free image hosting services like Photobucket and ImageShack. You will need to set-up an account and follow their instructions for transferring your images to their computers.
Once this is done, you should be given a URL or address to where your picture is. It would look something like this (without the quotes) "http://www.hostingservice.com/users/youraccountname/ratweiler1.jpg".
3. Once your picture is "online" then you will simply need to insert one into a post using the appropriate "tag". By clicking the "Image" button (
) on the posting screen you will open up another window asking for the URL of the image. Copy and paste or type the URL to your image and hit enter. (added: BladeForums sometimes simply inserts the opening tag into the text, then you would paste the URL for your image immediately after that, then hit the "Image" button again to place the closing tag.)
You will then see something like this in the text of your message. (without the asterisks "*")
[*IMG]http://www.hostingservice.com/users/youraccountname/ratweiler1.jpg[/IMG*]
4. Hit the "Preview Post" button to ensure that it is working then hit "Submit".
Hopefully this helps out. If you have any other questions, or if I didn't explain something very well, just let me know.
Good Luck!
