SK 501

If only we could get them to put one of those beautiful Buck clip points on it... @skblades :rolleyes::D

This will be one I buy several of. One to keep, one to gift, one to display. I’m glad this decision was made, I was admittedly a little bummed the 501 wasn’t a BF knife finalist. I’m still interested to see how the 301 turns out :):thumbsup:

I have to admit I liked the look of the 501 for the Traditional Forum knife too, but there were just too many porch regulars that live in jurisdictions where they can't legally carry a locking blade. It would have shut a lot of folks out. Also, last year's forum knife was micarta, so I suspect that this year will be a more natural material for the handles. And that bareheaded 501 in burlap is just perfect looking. Thank goodness SK is around to make the 501 happen, because it certainly is a knife that deserves to happen.

I agree, it’s best to include everyone. Even though I don’t care for multi blade knives, I like that everyone from every country can own and use one with pride. We should never exclude our brothers from other countries. I will pick one up to keep, for sure.

I will say, though, it’s a nice relief to know the barehead 501 will be coming out anyway.
 
It really looks cool. I'm with you BP...a clip point that size would be an instant favorite with me :thumbsup:

Not sure if I'm going to get this 501 though.
I'm saving up for the BF 301 now.

sk is putting out a bunch. couple marksmen the 110lt in red...501 micarta barehead and 110 in micarta.

I think one of those 501’s will find its way to my mailbox. I was hoping that would be the BF knife too, but completely understand the issue with lock backs. Too bad they didn’t offer it in a non-locking barehead design!!

It looks cool , but if it was a Duke it would be better . The article also said a similar 110 would be made
 
Oh yeah, I'll take one of these for sure. I love the Squire and this one looks great.
 
All of its awesome. No Complaints. Were getting some unique offerings.
