Ka bar bending while being batoned is NOT a bad thing.
In my opionion knife that bend is safer. Because it gives you clear signal that you soon might be using it too hard.
When knife have higher tensile strength it is stronger overall, but will bend less. So you might less likely to see that you force it too much and more likely to breat it by error.
And ka bars are LONGER. Longer knife -better knife
