I'd seen things like belt buckles made from recycled skateboard decks but never a folding knife, so here you go. The handle is made from used skateboard ply with nice dyed blue and purple veneer. Blade is 1084 steel with machine finish and has a bottle opener on the lever. The pivot is an aluminum binding bolt. These were made with economy in mind, are very light and would be a good EDC and cool conversation piece. The one with the bottle opener is for sale. Price is $SOLD including shipping within USA and CANADA.

Details:
Blade - 1/8" x 2.75" -1084 machine finish, razor sharp, bottle opener
Handle - 4" skateboard ply
Pivot - aluminum binding bolt
Stop - stainless rod

they would be really interesting with a full miniature skateboard image per side instead of a fragment of one.
 
The scales do nothing for me since I am a bit old for a skater but I love the bottle opener at the end when the knife is closed that's a great idea!
