Your bow drill spindle - what is it made of? What did you use for the center shaft?

I have been trying to upload a vid to youtube to show the bow drill set up for the last 24 hrs with NO LOVE!
But to answer your question, The center tube dark brown part is some type of river reed? It's like bamboo but not super hard. The fire end is Burdock weed, and the bearing block is Sycamore and the hearth is Locust tree bark.
