North Arms Knives Skaha 2 - Black G10 / S35VN
I bought this as LNIB a little over a month ago here on BF. Well, check that, the Skaha 2 was definitely like new, but no box (*actually, North Arms just puts 'em in a cardboard box with straw, but anyway....). I carried semi-regularly and opened/closed it quite a bit over three weeks....it's seriously addictive. One day last week, I wasn't paying attention and butter-fingerly dropped it while flipping open, causing some minor cosmetic damage, consisting of an slight abrasion of the G10 on one side of the butt end and a few micro-divots near the spine. These are shown to the best of my poor photographic ability (speaking of which, the blade centering is perfect, but I took an attached photo at a less-than-ideal angle to show this). I also sharpened it in a progression from 140 to 1500 grit on a KME.
Other than the relatively minor cosmetic issues that I mentioned above, everything else is perfect on this Skaha 2. The hype on this knife is real. Like, really real. Such a sweet and satisfying detent, opening, and closing...amazing.
