Hello Forum!

You guys have been the best this year! We've done a collaborative 830 Marksman together, and your support of our 110 and 112 lines have been incredible. Thank you!!

We had talked about doing 112s in the same configuration as our G10 110s (Orange, Black, and Gray) but we ran out of time to get those out this year.

We wanted to let you know we have a new model we call the "Extreme" Spitfire. BOS S35VN Steel, black distressed blade and hardware, and black aluminum scales. We think you'll love it.

Thanks again! You are the THE community that makes us go 'round.

This is "spot on". Really nice. And you did it without our input, ha! Good job.

Cool little tid bit on this guy.
All the extra tapped holes for the different belt clip positions, have been filled in with set screws

Awesome looking knife. I couldn't resist temptation. I'm pumped to give it a try along with the Marksman!

Keep these designs coming!

I sure wasn't expecting to see this today. I think my Spitfire may be getting a brother. :D That Extreme Spitfire looks fantastic. I'm really diggin the distressed look.

Well, this forum just cost me another 60 bucks. :D I couldn't resist. That is one sharp looking knife. Sorry for all the bad puns. :D I can't believe the Spitfire is finally getting some love. I've always said if Buck made a Spitfire with S30V I would get it. I didn't think they would make one in S35VN. That is definitely one unique looking Spitfire.

As I wait for this cool little knife to show up, I keep thinking about something. I like to tinker. I've already taken my orange, regular Spitfire apart before. I can't help but wonder what the orange Spitfire would look like with the distressed looking hardware of the Extreme Spitfire. I doubt I'll actually change things around, but I can't help but wonder what it'd be like. Does it sound like a stupid idea to play around with the hardware of the two?

I received my Spitfire Extreme and I'm happy to report I'm very satisfied with this knife. It's action is very smooth and lock up is solid. I don't have the blade play that I've read plagued the past Spitfire models. I wish I could say the same for the Blue model from Copper and Clad. Luckily I received both knifes in today's mail and I was able to immediately feel the difference between the two. Good job SKB!

Sounds like a great idea just because I've been tossing the orange idea around in my head lately. I wonder what it would look like?

I got my Extreme Spitfire today. I must say, this thing is even nicer in person. The black handles are a perfect match for the dark, distressed hardware. The Extreme Spitfire feels just as solidly built as my standard Spitfire. The knife came with a hair popping edge. I think it's an elegant looking knife. If anyone is on the fence about getting one, hop off that fence and get one. ;)

I'm just wondering, how do they give the blade a distressed look? I tried searching the forum, but couldn't find anything.
