Skele-toes!

In all sincerity; if you need to "learn" how to walk in them, be wary of objects like sticks penetrating through the soles,(imagine what broken glass would do) odor problems, breaking toes, not good in cold weather and they look very strange....what is the point? These shoes only seem to have disadvantages. What is the attraction?

its the next best thing to running/walking around barefoot... circumvents the no shoes no service policy at most establishments :)
in all seriousness there are many benefits, i personally think they are extremely comfortable and are great driving shoes.

haha just spent the day walking around with the properly fitted skeletoes... initial impressions is that they are well suited for casual everyday wear in the city (better than the kso's) and maybe some minimalistic running and light trekking. the toe partitions arent as comfortable as the vff's (internal stitching rubs toes) but for half the price i think theyre a great introduction into "toe" shoes haha.

Good. For me, the comfort is enough to put up with the weird looks. It's like your toes are wearing their own shoes, lol.

The thought of wearing these shoes puts me into an anxiety attack. My feet are really sensitive. So much so, I can't wear flip flops. Having stuff between my toes sounds just awful. They look good on you, though.

Benefits for me for me are a strengthened lower back, legs, and toes.Yes, I do mean even walking heal toe with them. If you mis-step on concrete heel toe in these good luck... What winds up happening is normal barefoot you keep a sense of awareness about your feet with these on you gain somewhat of a sense of security and it can easily be ripped away and your left in pain. Just saying... They're not tennis shoes.

I like the velasa raptor comment that's exactly what it looks like walking in these.

These types of shoes never really interested me, but i happened to run acrossed a pair in my size at a Ross department store a couple days ago. They were on clearance for $18 so i figured what the heck i'd give them a try.

The toes don't bother me at all like i thought they would. They are very comfortable to walk on. I wore them today for the third time which just happened to be a day at a local waterpark with my family. They worked out great for this. I was able to go in and out of the water with my daughter and not worry about losing a flip flop. They dont dry as quick as i thought they would. Even after an hour to an hour and a half of being out of the water and in direct sun they were still pretty soaked, but it actually helped out since it seemed to keep me cool in the 100 degree temp.

I've only had them for a few days but i can tell i will get a lot of use out of them. My wife didnt want a pair but after seeing how well them worked out today she wants to go back to see if they have her size. I might even pick up another pair for myself, i believe they had a few different styles and colors.
