Nowadays, knife makes create knifes with skeletonized handles.
Skeletonized handles can make the blade lighter and give the blade a better POB.
Handle skeletonization is drilling or milling holes in the handle, but the holes arent for pins that hold the handle scales in place.
Unfortunately, most of the knife manufacturer refer their knives as full tang knives but they are actually skeletonized
In my preference, skeletonized tang is stronger than hidden tang, but it is still weaker than FULL tang...
Does anyone have experiences of breaking a skeletonized tang knife during chopping or batoning?
