Skeletonizing a Vantage

Who or what the heck is "nutnfancy"? I've never heard of anything but a candy bar by that name.

WHY WOULD YOU TRY A FIX A PERFECTLY GOOD FOLDER .The weight difference drilling holes in the frame would not be worth doing no possible way you would notice the difference when it in your pocket may be one or two small coins in weight loss and weaken the knife all because of someones silly opinion

If light weight is a necessity, why not go with a knife that is designed that way from the beginning? A 172 Mayo/TNT CF @ 2.2 oz. should just about fill the bill. It's very much like the Vantage and close to half the weight. No need to buy all the carbide bits and tools to butcher the Vantage with. ;) Oh, I know they are expensive, but look at it this way.

You won't be exausted from carrying it around all day like you will be if you carried that big old heavy Vantage! ;)
