I have had an odd project on the backburner for some time. I have several Gerber Mk 2s in various configurations but have always wanted one with the wide wasp blade of the Cutlery Shoppe specials but with the standard black handle instead of the cat's tonge version.

I'm tentatively planning on ordering a set of original blade & handle blanks from a guy I know & finding someone with the grinding skills replicate the blade shape of one of the knives I already own a Cutlery Shoppe wide wasp). I know a symmetrical wasp waisted dagger is no walk in the park to grind.

If possible, I would like to have the craftsman place his mark on the tang as well to make it even more unique. I'll deal with the problem of attaching the blade to the handle after the blade is sorted out. Anyone interested?
