Skills course in Texas or Lousianna?

I did some google searching - but I am wondering if anyone would recommend a school or training in Texas? I live near Houston and am willing to drive.

I don't want to 'Rambo it' just learn to live in the woods with minimal tools.

It looks like a lot of fun and I have wanted to go to them for so long but the distance is to much since I live in South Dakota.
