Steel: O1, ground not forged

Hardness: 59-60 RC

Blade length: 4-18"

Total length: 8-1/8"

Blade thickness: 3/16"

Handle material: curly maple, from Richard Edwards. Really nice stuff. Nice tight curls, and acts like tigers eye when you turn it in the light. Real pretty. I want to keep this one, but need the money more than I need more knives. :D I dyed it with wood stain.

Price: $185 + $10 shipping

I can take paypal, check, or MO. Send paypal and any corrospondence to phillip@pattonblades.com please. My PM box is almost full.

Comes with leather sheath. The one I made for it is brown, horizontal carry. If you prefer vertical, or a different color, I can whip up another one.

:eek:Wow!What a beautiful knife!...wish I had the cash for this one.

Thanks, guys!

I forgot to mention that the maple was treated with Nelsonite.

After thinking about, it, I decided $200 is a little too much for a stock removal knife with a machine finish, so I'm dropping it to $185. :)

This pattern is one of the best hunter/skinners I've tried. I've had one in W2 for a few years, and Phillip just turned out another for me so that I could do some steel/hardness experimenting on antelope this fall. I'd absolutely increase my total to three of them with this one if I didn't have too many pending expenses this month.

This one is now sold! Thanks everyone for your comments, and thanks especially to the buyer!
