Here is a knife that fits in the hand like an old glove. With the large brass bolster, the balance is toward the handle making the knife lay in the hand with the blade facing downward, ready for use.
1/8 inch ATS34 heat treated to Rc 58-60 with a cryogenic quench
Mirror finish
Hollow ground with a slight clip at the point
Kingwood handle (I don't know much about this wood but I am guessing that it is a rosewood. At least that is the way it shaped and finished)
Overall length: 8 1/4 inches
Blade: 3/3/4 inches
Hand sewn leather scabbard
$180 THE KNIFE IS SOLD plus $6 shipping to the lower US. Paypal and money order accepted. I will take your check if you don't mind waiting for is to clear before I ship.
A little higher priced than most of my other knives but I took the extra time to taper the tang and dovetail the bolster to the handle. (I just wanted to show my favorite customer and toughest critic that it could be done!)
