Materials: A2 steel, micarta and carbon fiber pins, G-Flex epoxy, chechen wood.
Heat Treat: Paul Bos, 60RC.
Thickness: A smidge under 1/8"
Cutting Edge: 3 3/4"
Tip to Scales: 4 1/8"
O.A.L.: 8 5/8"
Weight of Knife and Sheath Combined: 6.75 oz.
Finish of wood: Hot wax compound, burnished.
Imperfections:
There are some little divots around the makers mark, probably from grit on my work arm.
The mottled appearance on the steel is from rust that was sanded off.
The grain in the micarta pins is not lined up with the grain of the surrounding wood.
There is a buffing burn on the left side, at the butt end.
Scuffs on the bevels, from free-handed sharpening.
Spot of rust, at the tip.
In the picture below, you can see the half-moon -shaped divots around maker's mark. The little white specks on the lower ricasso are just flakes of leather:
In the outdoor pictures, the wood looks redder than it really is. The pictures where it looks brown are more accurate, in terms of the wood color.
This is the buffing burn:
