Another one forged from 1/8" thick 15n20 flat bar.
It's forged down to 5/64" thickness to be a wicked little slicer.
I've tried to forge it to fit in Skinner or Nessmuk like design, and to keep it good looking and simple.
Flats are left raw, wet forged and wire brushed after forging. I've spent some more time on wet forging,
and i'm really happy with the result. Grind is higher on this one, so there is not much forging texture left.
After heat treatment, flats are brushed with scotch brite.
Bevels are made in satin finish with scotch brite.
Details:
Overall length - 8,5"
Blade length - 4,25"
Blade width - 1,4"
Thickness at the back of the spine -5/64"
Handle material: stabilized walnut root with, black G10 liners, carbon fiber pins and lanyard tube.
Handmade 9/64" thick vegetable leather sheath, made for right hand vertical carry.
Asking SOLD, priority shipping with tracking number included
