I would later, like to know how that works out for you as I would not have thought such a long blade would be a very good skinner. Most skinning knives are smaller length blades with profiles more suited for the task. The Hog Muk for example, will excel at skinning as will the HRLM. The Batac would do good with Elk, being such a large animal. I did use my SwampRat RMD to do a little skinning and that profile seemed to work better than I thought it would. It will be interesting to hear how your Boss Jack does and hope you share your experience.
