Skirmish or Sebenza?

I had a Mini but the handle felt like it tapered off to soon for me(Sold the mini).I just picked up a full size Skirmish, not that fills up my hand and then some. It's a keeper.I won't buy a knife if I can pick up a decent handgun for the same price. After all it is still just a knife. If you like it,you eat it.

I know what you mean. Average to large hands are not suited for many folders on the market and it's especially annoying when the end of the handle has a protruding guard that pokes into the insides of your fingers. Luckily the BM mini Grip just tapers off and rounds at the end, but it's uncomfortable to have your last finger or two gripping nothing!

not to throw a monkey into the wrench or anything, but if you like the Skirmish, you might also check out the Zero Tolerance 0300 folders.

Thanks for all the responses. It seems like the majority voted for the Sebenza, and thats what I actually went with. It sounds like it is a bit ahead of the Skirmish, in terms of quality. Ok, as well as in price, but well. If I use it for a couple of years, it will pay off itself.

I admit that it is quite expensive and almost in the custom knife-price range, and a custom even crossed my mind too. But, I think it may be slightly easier to EDC and actually use a "production" knife, rather than an actual custom. So yeah, I went with a inlayed Sebenza... . Cant wait to receive it. :D

akubra: CONGRATS on choosing a Sebenza!!! That is awesome!! DO check out the CRK forums here, under Manufacturers Forums.

Hehe, thanks-you "Sebenza-guys" got it bad, dontchya? ;)
In fact Ive already checked out the CR forum... . :D

I guess I should post some pictures of mine, once I receive it. :)

Great choice, do post pics when you get it.

As for being close to custom price, it is well within the starting price of a good custom but in my experience very, very, very few customs can match the overall quality of the Sebenza when it comes to fit and finish.

Nice choice. I have the sebbie, the BM Skirmish and mini, Bradley alias and personally they all are nice. So many knives and guns and so little time.
