These arent scratches on the blade ( not anything serious) and I can sharpen this up to a laser beam if you like.
Its already super sharp! The edge is very tough as well.

Do you have a spine shot of the handle?

I dont right now, I can take one tonight. The blade is 1/8" thick and the handles should be around 1" thick...somewhere in there.
They are very comfortable, IMO.
