Skookum Bush Tool Dangler

Did a redesign!

Easier to make, drops the D-ring down lower, should be stronger and looks cleaner.

Found some Mahogany stain that matches pretty good.

They also have been treated with Bees' wax.

I've wanted one for my Skookum sheath the first time I saw it. Thanks to Brian, I'm going to get one!
 
Great job!!!! Man i want a Skookum so bad...... Mark Wohlwend's pukko model is so similar. thats why i cant wait for it!!
 
I'm currently on Rod's 2.5+ year waiting list right now, the Skookum looks pretty darn close to my 'grail knife', can't wait for it to get here, only 2.4 years to go!
 
I just got my dangler attachment from Brian and immediately put it on my Skookum. It makes a real difference! A missing attachment loop was always something that bothered me about what is otherwise a near-perfect knife+sheath design. -And while I completely understand the reasoning for the design, I never really liked using just paracord to attach this knife. Now I don't have to.

Brian's heavy duty design really completes the Skookum Bush Tool. Heavy leather and heavy brass design, really easy to mount, although you will need a leather hole punch to make the holes. I think anyone with a SBT should consider adding the dangler (if Brian is still making more!) -And, you don't need to wait 2.5 years!

Haven't had a chance to take it beyond the kitchen counter, but the weather's getting better and better out here...
