Skookum Bush Tool thoughts

I know there are a lot of great knife makers with less waiting times out there, but sometimes demand exceeds supply or the ability to produce faster and then you end up with the long waits.

I ordered mine right before popularity kicked off...actually, I was in Iraq, so I had "wait time" already established:D

What can I say about the knife? It's a simple, efficient design. About the only aesthetic to it is the welded butt cap, which I really like.

I'm getting her packed up to get one of Martin Swinkles technical bushcrafter sheaths done up.

Sorry, no "action" shots, just some posing:D The Fiddleback Nessie was sent to me in Iraq and received a little combat cutlery badge:D

Just order one anyway. He doesn't take deposits and if anything happened in 12 months time that lead to you being unable or unwilling to pay for it, there are plenty of other people he could sell it to (Although a deal is a deal and backing out is not the best thing to do).
There are only so many permutations and I'm sure one of his orders would be for the exact same configuration that you asked for. When mine was ready, Rod mailed me and said that it was fine if I didn't still want it and he apologised for the extended waiting time (I was quoted 7 months and it became almost 12).

70% of my trips to my knife bin result in grabbing this knife. And there are ALOT of knives in that bin!
