was thinking that same thing.
I thought the same thing. I carved one on video for my YT channel. I used a SAK Farmer and all the tools it offers to make the job easier. IIRC I had about 30 total minutes of video that I edited down. I only showed a few seconds of all the different cuts I used and just faded them together. I wasn't trying to do it in a hurry and can't really see it as a timed event. Three to four minutes seems like a Chinese sweatshop.

As for the Skookum, it seems like a winner I just wouldn't be able to wait two years. It was killing me to wait ten months for my Koster.
Great vid. I watched that for inspiration as I waited for my Farmer to ship to me. Out of all my expensive knives, the $19 Farmer is my most used. LOL.

I just got mine recently, it was a 2 year wait, but well worth it.
Once you feel it in your hands, you know the quality of design & blade. I have dozens of other Scandi & Bushcraft knives, but this is the most solid of them all. I had no problems carving really hard aged burl with mine, while Moras, BRKT and Condor couldn't keep up.
It is one solid usin' knife.

They are great knives. I cant find anything really WRONG with them. When I bought 2, the wait was 10-12 months. I paid just over $200 apiece.
I think its a knife worth waiting for. The secondary market is starting to have them show up. So, for a few extra dollars, you can get one, if your not patient.
