SkunkWerX WSK BigBully Knife

Thanks for that last pic of it in your hand, it gives me a better idea of scale. The idea of a necked up necker is apparent now looking at it.

First off, knife looks great:thumbup:

Second, what all colors do you just have "lying around" ;) :D Chris

Thanks Chris.

I have this blue speckled color you see, I have a "skin tone" speckled color, ( best way to describe it). Got some marbelized white, and some plain white.
On something small, the marbelized white isn't going to show up, has to be a larger surface.
Oh yeah, I got this very light purple speckled color, like the colors you see sometimes when the sun is setting.

Here is how you go about getting your own corian scraps.
Find a shop that builds custom corian countertops.
I get the sink cut-outs. An oval bathroom sink cut-out cost me $1 a piece :)
It wouldn't be far fetched for them to just hand you a few for FREE.

I gotta go check out and see if they have any black or dark green. Also the colors that look like stone are very popular now, I think they would look slick as a knife handle/scale.

Can be cut, shaped, routed, sanded with same tool you use for wood.
It is typically about 1/2" thick, so I slice it down thinner on a band saw.
The ones in the picture are about 3/16ths thick, each.

Oh yeah, like all material, don't breath the dust. hack hack :barf:

Way cool Skunk.

Thanks for the Corian tip. I ordered my first piece. It was a color sample that measured 4" x 4" x 1/2". I think I spent $5 on it. I used it to make a set of Corian grips for my 1911 :p .

I'll have to post some pic soon.

So Skunk....those blades you make with the Corian handles....gonna call them your TOP COUNTER blades? I like the idea of using that material.
