Skunkworks Sheaths - still in business?

In March I traded a forum member and got a custom Ronin with what I was told was a Skunkworks sheath. I needed to have left-handed clips made for what is presently a right-handed sheath. April 3rd, I sent the sheath to Skunkworks after having a conversation with a person named Frank, who said for me to send it in with payment.

I am posting this on August 18th and have not gotten a returned phone call yet from Skunkworks. Emails sent to his address always return with errors and is undeliverable. This is frustrating.
 
I don't know, but if you go to the Skunkworks website and click on return at the bottom of the page, you will find that the domain is for sale. Not a good sign.
 
I am out some cash and a sheath. I guess I should be glad he didn't steal my Ronin, which remained here.
 
If you need a kydex sheath made, don't hesitate to do business with Okuden. Brian at Okuden made me five sheaths in 7 days, kept me informed as to progress by email a couple of times, then emailed me a pix when completed. They have a website. Follow the links at Badmojo.

Guys, thank you very much for the suggestions.

It’s a custom Ronin under discussion, to which MIke Snody emailed me recommending Edge Guard. So the knife is presently in the capable hands of Frank Sigmon. When it comes back, I will be able to post a picture of it. I have never taken a picture of the custom one before.

As for my Spyderco Ronin, I bought the sheath depicted here from Mike Sastre, who I trained with at Mike Janich’s MBC seminar in Ohio recently. Mike also sells the complete Spyderco Ronin package which also comes with one of Sastre's sheaths.

Eric at Normark is renowned on this forum for doing excellent sheath work, as well.

Just too bad I got taken in over at Skunkworks and wound up wasting a lot of time and money on that deal.

I hear you on that. It's still five months without one phone call returned to my various phone messages. Unacceptable.
