Skyline Regrind

guess i'm not the only idiot that's willing to spend more on the work than on the knife...

Idiot? Speak for yourself there, buddy:D Seriously, the cost ratio of knife to mod work is insignificant if you are happy with the mods and they improve the knife for your individual purposes and desires. Well worth the price in my opinion, and in no way idiotic.

You are correct, this is my first modded knife (other than my shiny Shallot, Rich J has that to finish up for me..., and my Blur combos) so i really can't wait to see it!

I was thinking CF handles on this one...

... what can one do with the Blur?

You better watch out. Modding can be as slipery a slope as knife collecting. ;)

Ain't that the truth. This S60V Blur will be my 3rd. I have a small classic Sebenza and Ti ZDP-189 Leek that have both been reground by Tom. They both are nasty sharp.

Just got it! Thanks again Tom

wow this thing is freaking sharp! i never would have expected that it can be like this. and extremely pointy on top of it all, like i requested.

it can still flip fine, just not as hard, it requires a bit more wrist. the whole thing doesn't feel any lighter, but definitely flips differently.

i'm happy! :)

CF next! let's see how light we can get this thing. FOD was it?

Good to hear it made it safely!

You can probably get it to flip better with a little adjustment. I personally like mine a little tighter than normal...

Let us know how it cuts for you and then your thoughts on ease of sharpening once it looses its bite.

Enjoy!

Tom, Spectacular! I love the regrind on this Skyline, excellent work.

I recently got a Skyline and have been very impressed. It is extreemly well designed. I'm starting to make a list of what I like about it but want to spend some more time with it before posting. ft
