Skyline

Lot of things I like in this knife, too, from the JYD-style flipper that serves as a generous guard when open, to the straight-forward spear point blade design -- IMO more non-recurves are most welcome in the Kershaw line.

Am I correct in guessing that the thumbstuds serve the function of a blade stop pin? If so, I think that's a terrific feature on a flipper design. Placing the thumbstuds as far back as possible on the blade gets them out-of-the-way so there will be minimal interference during use or when sharpening. On the Lahar I don't like the thumbstuds, seem really out-of-place, but I think used this way I'll like them.

Overall a very appealing size and design, excellent steel and handle material ... and I'm sure the Skyline will be another solid value, given the quality we see from Kershaw. Nice work!

BTW, glad to see you back posting a bit, Thomas. We all need a break once in a while. :)

i really like how all of the kershaws manage to look different and unique. a lot of companies seem to have a bunch of knives out that look way too similar, but each kershaw is a must have because its completely new

Wow,

It looks like a great edc knife & I will be picking one up when they are available.

Good Job Kershaw!

I think Kronos hit the nail on the head. Thats what I like about Kershaw , always something new and different.
And we all like anticipating just what the next new knife is going to be... whatever it is it'll be awesome!!:thumbup:

Another one to put on my list!!!! sahweeet

Thanks Thomas

Tell everyone at Kershaw to keep up the good work!!!
Keep them new models rolling out.

3 words, my next knife!

Thomas says we won't be seeing these until March, and then you say it's your next knife!?! I don't know about you, but if I tried to wait until March before buying another knife, I'd go nuts!! Is there a version of methodone that can be used on knife addicts instead of Heroin addicts?? If I could get some of that stuff, I might.....MIGHT be able to last until March, but probably not:D

Merry Christmas
Jon
