Skyline

I wish this didn't have the silver pocket clip. I always prefer the black ones as I think they blend in better with my jeans. Silver just "pops" out and draws people's attention that you are wearing a knife.

You could go to the fabric store and get some of that teddy bear fabric and glue it on the clip and/or sclaes, then, it will took like you have a cuddly wuddly wittle teddy bear in your pocket. Nobody is scared of teddy bears.....they might think you are some sort of pervert, but, that is a risk you will have to assume.:D

EXCELLENT idea spiral!!! People often assume I have something cute and cuddly in my pants as well, and I've never even been to the fabric store!!

Ok, had a few seconds to add some pics.

Messed around with the epoxy paint again, I'm always
too impatient so there is a little scuff near the screw.
Lighting was a little off as my box isn't here, but they came out OK.

Ordered 3 today...

one for me, one for my roommate, and one for my brother...

Anyone know if the ones at the Kershaw store will be "1 of 500"?

There's probably a very good chance since this is the first batch
sent out. Maybe you'll get lucky.

And as your brother, I must thank you for the knife.
;)
I know you have my addy. :D

Or they could just make it black.

Yeap thanks for the review , going to have to get myself one of these with my guvmint bonus check.:D

As for the pocket clip , you can do what I do to some of my pocket clips , get some gun blue and some acid etchtant ala Radio Shack , polish and clean the clip , etch it- wait for about 45 seconds then blue it , polish gently with extra fine steel wool and then oil with CLP , the finish looks more case hardened than blued and will last for a while depending on how rough you are on your knives.
End result is a pocket clip that is glare free and not shiny.

Yeah, Rebel,
Give us a visual please. Sounds like it looks pretty good.

Due to the fact y'all have been expounding on the virtues of the Skyline I just ordered one and another CPMD2 Leek. Seems like most of my new knives are Kershaw. I am real fond of knives in the 7 to 7.5 inch length open of a knife and a love the Wharncliffe blade. I prefer a folder to be on the thin side as I like IWB carry to hide the knife from prying eyes in our PC society.

Varg, just email kershaw and ask them for a ZT clip--it's black and it'll fit right on.

FYI I tried the clip off my ZT301 and It doesnt work. They are the same shape and everything but the bend in the clips is different. I have an extra clip from when I bent the clip on the knife, kershaw sent me two replacement clips. If you bend the ZT clip just a little it will work, if not it sits off of the knife 1/16". I dont know if bending the clip screws up the temper (clips are tempered right?) but I am going to keep it on the knife for a while and see.
