You'd really do that? Sweet. I just entered arks contest, and if I win, I'd love to try out a nice choil and get rid of that bottom guard. I just don't have the tools to do that here.
Not sure about the thumb ramp though, I've never really used one.

a couple files and sand paper (the crudest way) but it works im gonna do something similar to my 7 (tradewater inspired)Love what you did. Wish I had a clue how to do any of that, and what kind of tools it would take.
I put some Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil on it, but just about any kind of oil will darken it. There are guys that stain and dye it as well.
