Sleep system consists of ripstop GI Poncho, Thinsulate poncho liner, 3/4 size Thermarest Guidelite sleeping pad and a reflective ground cover. All have been used some and may smell slightly of camp fire, but are in excellent condition - actually, I recall that I received the poncho liner with a tiny cut in it (not through both layers) as if the folks at BQM opened their box with a knife, but when looking for it just now I wasn't able to find it. It has never caused any issue for me.
