About two weeks ago I asked CM to make me a sheath for a knife that has been laying on my workbench for the past couple of months. The communication between him and I was outstanding; PM's, then phone calls to get the finer points worked out, and text messages with photo's showing the progress. The sheath is solidly built and provides excellent retention of the blade. It was a real solid job by CM, the only problem I noticed was that the stitching wasn't always the exact distance from the edge of the sheath all the way through. So functionality it is 10 out of 10 and cosmetically I give it a 8 out of 10.

Here is the sheath on my belt with a ASP riding in the back pocket.

Looks good on you! Thanks for the free advertising ;)

Function always trumps form.

That's my motto when fixing things. What's that fixed blade on your card that you sent in the box?

That was the first and only damascus knife I have made to date.
