Some rather large things to trade.
None can be shipped except the sleeping bag and the 45/70 brass and lead, pickup only or I will go a short distance to meet for the right trade.
I have some old, fired 45/70 rim-fire brass, and a few of the lead bullets also.
These are highly collectable for anyone interested in old west history. The brass was found by myself(metal detector) at an old cavalry encampment a few miles from here.
The soldiers used to sit under a few very large oak trees and shoot about 200 yards into a creek embankment. After shooting 5 to 15 rounds they would dig a hole drop in the brass and stomp on it.
The lead bullets were all dug from around Bracketville TX.
They are uncleaned, as dug. I will get a picture of a cleaned one up.
Military Casualty sleeping bag--
Down filled, full length draft tube, has fur ruff around the face area.(fox I believe)
Good condition, has a couple slightly discolored spots.(not sure what that's from)
It doesn't appear to have ever been used. Has some storage wear, a few places that needed going over again have been sewn with nylon thread on my machine. One longer rip near the foot, 5 or 6 smaller repairs scatter about. 2 small repairs on the draft tube, one near the head area, one nearer the waist.
Does not smell bad! It was a little musty when I got it, I cleaned it up, and laid it out in the sun for a few days.
Zippers are in excellent working condition, newly waxed and ready to go.
About 32" wide at the shoulder, 23" wide at the foot. Has lots of room.
I'm 6'1" 185lbs and I can zip myself in, turn over, stretch out my legs(foot box is large), flap my arms, crow cock-a-doodle-doo, all with ease.
It doesn't get cold enough here to warrant keeping a down filled bag, and I don't plan on hunting up north during the cold season either.
The worst rip near the foot.
Belsaw sharp-all - GONE
Dagger RPM 9.0 kayak - Float bags, Backrest, Paddle, Skirt.
Showcase - Roughly 4ft by 15in by 5in. Cedar with a plywood back, Juniper face piece and juniper glass holders.
Hinges at the top and lock hasp at the bottom. Can have a light put in it. No glass.
Was a custom job I never got paid for...
I also have a few strops left.
I can send more pictures if interested.
Will entertain all offers.
High end trades welcome.
No watches, laptops or Aus8 steel please.
