Yea, if the blade was about 4.5 inches and there was a curved integral finger guard, it'd be extremely hard to say no.

Very handsome knife! I really like the grinds on the blade!

Could you please give some background information on sleipner steel? I'm not familiar with this.
Thanks,
John

It's a newer version of D2. One of the few steels recommended by Uddeholm to be used as a knife blade material.

Evidently fairly hard to get ahold of stock in the correct sizes to make blades so not many makers use it. Same with Vanadis 4E.

Could you please give some background information on sleipner steel? I'm not familiar with this.
Thanks,
John

Excuse me but I was a few days away from home in nature. I want to thank you for your words and praise. Sleipner I certify especially the harder you work, I personally knives from Sleipner, the description is as follows ... Sleipner is a high alloyed tool steel ideal for replacing AISI D2 where chipping is a problem and / or replacing AISI A2 in Applications Requiring higher wear resistance . Sleipner is also a very good substrate steel for all types of surface treatments. This combination means Sleipner That is an extremely versatile conventional tool steel for medium to long-run cold work tooling. The knife I made in this case by converting the picture, the price of housing is the same as I said above. Thank you all.
