Hello my friends.
One finished.
The handle is Karelian stabilized birch and the rest is sleipner

Vacuum quenched and reduced to 62rc. The blade etched . Circuit polished. The handle is glued with epoxy and tightened with screws
Total length 11,6"
Thickness 0.24''
Blade length 6,5''
Sleipner steel composition
- 0.7% of Carbon: It improves hardness and wear/corrosion resistance, but a high amount of it decreases strength.
- 7.8% of Chromium: For tensile strength and Edge retention, and enhances corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
- 2.5% of Molybdenum: Increase Machinability and strength.
- 0.5% of Manganese: Increases hardness and brittleness.
- 0.9% Silicon: Improves Strength.
- 0.5% of Vanadium: Improves wear resistance and hardenability.
The case is genuine leather.
Thank you for viewing and possible interest.
Sincerely, Miro
