Forged this up today, not sure what shape category it falls into I just liked seeing those round edges and wanted to try one. I might grind a concave into the tip area to give it a sharp pointy tip instead. Spine is 3/32" forged like a flat grind all the way to the convex edge. Still needs some grinding, but that'll come after HT. The hammer finish is called Kuro Ichi? Need to rework the stamp in it too.

i have seen buck skinners like that before with an edge ground nearly all the way around the tip to the spine
it was not a gutting / skinning all in one but it seemed to be a good skinner (never used one tho)
