Slight mods and new pants for the 20

So I've had my 20 for a little while now. It needed a new sheath. Nothing wrong with the Kabar polyester sheath, I just like the look of leather. I'm pretty terrible with leather still, but I decided to try a pancake style sheath. I usually do taco sheaths. Anyway, it turned out pretty good. Added the dangler even though I think this may be one of those knives too big to carry on a belt.

The mods I did are almost nonexistent. I etched the logo and then stripped the coating off. Then I re-profiled the tip a bit. The edge sweeps up now more than it sticks out. Lowered the bend in the spine (barely) and rounded out the rest of it. Still not completely happy with it, but I'll work on it more down the road.

Sweet work KJ. The leather looks great (not sure why you think you aren't good at that) and I love that you've done a bit of reprofiling as well. The subtle clip angle makes for an easy conversion to a drop point I reckon. Keep us posted as you go bud. Love this stuff..

Thanks for all the kind words guys!

beekaynutcase: the leather looks good because the photos don't show the backside of it haha. and a drop point would be pretty cool on a 20.

And no one will see the back side of it when you're carrying it either therefore it doesn't exist right?
