So, i am coming up on the two thousand mark and figured its time to give somthing away!

here is the *bounty:

in hand:
3359021120_bc22350747.jpg

knife i made out of some recycled saw steel. i dont know exactly what kind of wood the handle is, but it was off of an old axe handle. ill post some better pics later, once i can get my brother to take some with his fancy camera.

okay, so here is the skinny. first of all, you must comply with all of the following:

-must be a WS&S regular. (more than just a few posts)
-must never get rid of the knife.
-you must use the supplied sheath (i know, it is mediocre at best, but i put a considerable amount of time into it, so i would like it to see some use).
-if able, take a pic or two once you get it.

then, you must post a pic from winter, preferably with some kind of blade/gear in it. limit of 5 pictures.

this is open to mods and canadians too.

-Brendan

Thanks for the contest. My computer with most of my pics on it died, but I do have this.

My jeep is a piece of gear right? And the dog is Major, and he's my best buddy when I head for the woods.

Did you mean Bounty? I hope so.....

Very cool lil knife Barber, and congrats on your soon to be 2k post.

I agree to all the rules, not that I ever win these things anyway.....

And in regards to the recent batoning thread, here's my pic

Thanks for the contest, Brendan. Cool blade!

Here's my post to enter, with a winter photo from NY's late Northern Zone muzzle loader season. That's my Busse Meaner Street stuck in the tree. You might have noticed the BFW&SS patch on my Blackhawk OPSEC4 pack, resting on my "hot seat" of hemlock boughs.

That's one cool little blade. Thanks for the giveaway!

Here's a pic of my son and I out in one of the local parks. I'm not showing off any bushcrafty tools, but my son is equipped with a green plastic spatula. You never know when it might come in handy in a SHTF situation.:D

I'll add a few icy pics from this past weekend.

Five winter pictures? No problem! Consider the first my gear shot. The rest are just for fun. I love winter. These are shots from south and central Ontario, Canada, from 2008-09.

Thanks for the contest Barber. That's a great looking nessie.

All the best,

- Mike

Okay - I know you asked for Winter Photo's and I promise these are from winter. I live in Texas now - so this is about as winter as it gets. The top two are in late November - and the bottom two are from early February. ;)
