slightly off topic... where do you buy your paracord?

i've been doing some research on paracord and i've found quite a few stores online, but i figured i'd ask you all your experience. so, how 'bout it? where is the best place to get the good stuff on the cheap? thanks.
 
I just got some from GoingGear.com that has 8 strands inside. Should be stronger and you get more cordage if you need to gut it. Best part is it cost the same as the 7 strand I bought before.
 
I get mine mostly from SupplyCaptain, they have lotsa choices of color. Edcdepot also carries cords with glow tracers. I also got some on ebay with reflective tracers but those are more expensive
 
A great place to buy para-cord is www.goinggrear.com. Marshall is a fellow BF member and the cord he carries is top notch. Most cord you find is 7 strand giving it a 550 lb rating, his is 8 strand making it more along the lines of 625 or so and his prices are great. If you let him know that your a BF member you qualify for a 10% discount also, just ask him for the code to enter into the purchase area.
 
i saw a link recently for 1,000 ft spools of OD or black mil spec stuff for about $45 shipped. that should be a "lifetime supply" for about half a cent per foot.

i just can't remember where it was. :rolleyes:

also need some bright colored stuff for some things. several of the ebay vendors seem to have great prices and reasonable shipping for the shorter lengths, like if you only need 50' at a time of a bright color for zipper pulls or whatever.

Unfortunately they don't ship to canada =(

I get mine from 5starEDC on ebay
 
I buy it wherever I happen to be ordering from at the time. I don't piddle over the price differences because I go through so much of it it's like gas for me. Won't drive out of my way to save a few cents, won't pay shipping for one item.
 
just bought some from lighthound, bought per foot as filler to get that free shipping since I bought some batteries and charger
