I am selling my KMG Grinder due to health issues that keep me from enjoying knife making. It is about 2 years old and used very little. It is the 8" Grinder package which includes 1 Grinder Assembly, 1 work rest, 1 platen assembly, 1 tool bar, and 1 8" grinding wheel. The set up also comes with 1 steel base plate, 1 spare steel tooling arm, and the platen has a ceramic glass liner and a 3" contact wheel installed (I still have the original aluminum wheel as well). The system is powered by a with a 1.5 HP 1740 RPM Leeson motor controlled by a Genesis KBAC 27D VFD set up for 110V. I will also include 29 Norton belts of various types, grits and conditions. Some are well used and some are brand new.
This Grinder is available for Local Pick-Up in the Long Beach California area for $1800. If you need it shipped the shipping cost will be added on according to your location. I'm guessing this will be somewhere around $350.
