This is nice knife to have around. I made it as my vision of a boot knife, you can wear it in the tall boot.
The handle is fairly slim, but very handy.
The blade is CPM S30V, a tad shorter 4", 1" wide and 1/8" thick at the bolster. Flat ground with satin finish after 400 grit cork belt. Hardened to 60HRC by Paul Boss.
The guard piece is a combination of nickel-silver and copper. I tooled it a bit.
The handle is stabilized black walnut about 4-1/2" long.
The tang has a threaded end and the butt cup with the "lanyard loop" is screwed on it. Butt cup is made of stainless steel.
Everything is assembled with epoxy permanently.
The leather sheeth is made of 9OZ leather. Hand stiched, tooled, dyed and polished.
I ask reserved, pending funds for it shipped CONUS via Insured Priority Mail.
