I'd love to get your opinions on this knife both positive and negative. The blade is 6.5" long out of 1095 steel. the handle is micarta. Thanks much.

Looks sweet to me! Nice hamon, nice blade! I might have put a bit more curve into the finger hold on the back side, flowing it into the handle, but its a very nice and unique way to have a sub-hilt type handle!

Looks great! I like the way you used the micarta for the subhilt effect -- subtle.

i was gonna say the same thing tic toc said, its an awesome knife, i love it. i do think however that the guard could use a littlealtering to match the rest of te knife, i was trying to put my finger on it when tic toc nailed it, the top finger guard could use a more fluid angle awesome knife though, i would still buy it as is! (if i had the spare cash

Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to do some more contouring on the handle now. Then I have to make a sheath. I'll probably make a clip sheath like on a boot knife.

Knife looks great and hamon is outstanding. Don't really care for the subhilt handle but hey I could live with it ya know. You are doing extremely fine work good sir, keep it up and keep'em sharp.
