Have Zaans, really big fan but not all the comfortable in the hand. Large Inkosi is a dream!!!!!
Had a slim midi tanto and I’m not joking when I say it was the worst action and most painful/uncomfortable knife I’ve ever owned. Trying to access the lockbar to close the knife was like dancing with the devil.
Does Medford make sure all edges on the scales are sharpened and stropped at 90 degrees before they leave the factory?
Thank you for the kind words, Elliott.Coleman's a talented fella.
Can you give me some details on the poor action? Was it able to slow roll out? Spydie flick? Was the detent too soft or too strong?Have Zaans, really big fan but not all the comfortable in the hand. Large Inkosi is a dream!!!!!

In general the action was extremely stiff and I’m use to stiff action because I’m a huge fan on CRK but the slim midi was brutal. The edges on the scales were all too sharp in my opinion. Accessing the lockbar damn near took off some thumb skin and I’m use to almost anything at this point because I’ve been using/collecting for quite a while. Can’t remember the detent. I do remember I had to slow roll it only. Maybe I got a lemon because he has a huge following and doesn’t have a hard time selling knives. Although, I’m not sure there’s another maker out there, besides Olamic, that loses more value the moment it drives off the lot. Check that, I would say, Grimsmo, Holt and Rockstead lose a ton of value as well as soon as they hit the secondary even if they are still in new condition. For the record, my Rask is one of my absolute favorite knives, and I own 5 Rocksteads. Can you give me some details on the poor action? Was it able to slow roll out? Spydie flick? What part was most uncomfortable?
Was it the pocket clip? What part of the scales were sharp?
