This knife is from a line of fighters that I am making. It is the Slim Pickens model and the emphasis is on an overall slim knife. The thickness on the handle is 1/2". It enables you to know your edge orientation as soon as you grasp the knife. The handle is a brown micarta with a 416 stainless steel guard, thong hole tube and handle bolts, all are bead blasted. The 3/16" X 7" blade is froged from 1084 steel. I used clay to get the hamon. To finish the blade I hand sanded it then etched it to make the hamon stand out and to give a nice subdued finish to the knife. The sheath is leather.
